Welcome

I am proud of my family. I love Jesus. I am not perfect. I like junk food, particularly potato chips. I work out with my sexy rock star husband. I hate it. I do it for the company. My children make my heart beat. I was once a full time photographer. I retired to loose my sanity by becoming a stay-at-home Mom. I recently came out of retirement to avoid the looney-bin. Please enjoy the funny stories of my family, the hilarity of me trying to work out & find my skinny and the every-now-and-then crafts that I begin but rarely finish.

December 1st

1. It's DECEMBER 1ST!!! I'm not going to give the question, "where has the time gone?" Why, you ask? Well, the time flies away when I'm running behind two 20 month old rambunctious, giggly, silly girls and their equally rambunctious brother.

2. We finally got our tree decorated....AT 10 O'CLOCK AT NIGHT!! Not bad for 2 sleepy parents and a wide-eyed 4 year old.

3. I've got some new favorite ornaments this year:

This one {along with a few more} came from Gram's stash. Mom passed them out to us last year to integrate with our own and it's pretty special to me. I remember helping her trim her tree the last few years and specifically remember these.

These came from the Disney Employee's Store in California. Chris went to L.A. this summer for a meeting w/ some execs & came back with each of these for the kids.

This ones always been a favorite of mine. It was one of our 1st gifts given to us as a married couple. It says "Our 1st Christmas" on the broom.

3. So far, since the tree trimming 17 hours ago, we've had 3 ornament casualties. I honestly thought we'd have more than that but the girls have been good. Plus, Alexander's been on them like a hawk today. He goes off like a siren as soon as they walk too close to the tree. What'll happen tomorrow when he goes to school is left for another post.

Poor darling - These two didn't stand a chance. They didn't even make it out of the box to the tree.
This second one confirmed what we already knew - we waited to let the sisters help decorate until NEXT YEAR.
This one actually made it on the tree. Izzy picked her off & pulled her hair. Home girl looks like she was in a gang fight & all her hair was pulled at the roots. I'm definitely going to try to fix her because she came from Gram's.
